Breanne & Maika’i have a love that is infectious, sweet and radiant. Eddy & I were part of an incredible team of vendors that came together for Breanne & Maika’i’s Wedding. I think we all felt lucky to witness and be a part of their amazing day. It began with the Sugako of Bliss Bridal, based on Oahu, working closely with Breanne to create Breanne & Maika’i’s dream wedding team. Every detail was handled with care by Sugako, her team and all of us vendors were included in on these details so we wouldn’t miss a thing. Eddy & I tackled the first portion of our photography (& BTS scenes videography) alongside Redefined Weddings Video crew & the Hair/Makeup Gals with Mua Manda. We love seeing both our brides & grooms before the ceremony to calm any last minute nerves. Witnessing the transformation into formal attire is always so exciting and it really gets everyone in the mood for the rest of the wedding day! Breanne and her gals were full of laughter & tears as she got dressed. Maika’i and a few good friends shared some last words before Maika’i was shuffled from the Marriott Beach Club to the ceremony site to prepare for the couple’s first look.

Eddy & I loved getting our first glance of the Lanikuhonua Grounds which was the location for Breanne & Maikai’s Wedding. It is a stunning location and on arrival we were blown away with the set up by Bliss Bridal. Everything was perfectly adorned in gorgeous florals by Engaging Moments. The finely crafted rentals by Aloha Artisans were welcoming and there was the cutest bar set up by Sabaii Bar Service. Super fun & oversized lawn games were sprinkled around for guests to enjoy as they arrived. The photo & video team tucked Breanne & Maika’i away in a private grassy area at Lanikuhonua so they could enjoy their first look at one another before the ceremony began. When they saw one another is was very quiet and yet the emotions of love & tenderness filled us all who witnessed this time with them. There was not a dry eye around when it was all said and done. Breanne and Maika’i’s quiet whispers to one another said it all with their giggles & teary-eyed smiles towards one another. They gave each other leis as well as their sweet mamas and we all knew it was time for their wedding ceremony to commence.

Officiant Michael Nelson held a gentle space for Breanne & Maika’i to exchange heartfelt vows in front of their closest family & friends…all 106 of them. After the vows were complete, we were all ready to celebrate this amazing couple and shower them with well wishes for their new journey ahead as husband & wife. The reception was led so well by Hunter of Aloha Event DJ. The couple’s evening program was packed with tasty food by Shiro Saimin, dances, speeches, stories shared amongst all the tables, photos, video, yummy desserts by Liliha Bakery and of course hula! I’m sure I might have missed some of the details but I can tell you that Eddy & I were so happy to be a part of an event like this. Thank you Maika’i and Breanne for trusting us with making these photo memories for you so that you can always look back on this blissful day we all shared.
